Overview

Arrow Electric is actively recruiting an Electronic Systems Technician Level 4 for Commercial and Industrial Construction to install, repair and maintain multiple systems including Fire Alarm, Building Access Systems, camera systems and others in new construction, renovation and service settings.

Preferred Qualifications

*  Minimum of 5 years Electronic Systems Technician experience for construction

*  BICSI certification and/or relevant experience

*  Kentucky State Fire Alarm Inspector license and/or significant experience installing and programming fire alarm systems

*  Panduit Certification and/or significant experience

*  Ortronics Certification and/or significant experience

*  Additional Training provided

Duties & Responsibilities

The Electronic Systems Technician Level 4 is responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of voice / data, fire alarm, building access systems, camera systems and other low voltage electrical systems for new construction and renovation on Commercial and Industrial building projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

*  Follow blueprints of electrical layouts, schematics and building plans to install, maintain and repair voice / data, fire alarm, camera and security, and other low voltage electrical systems including Cat5E / Cat6, Fiber Optic, Coax, and other Low Voltage Cables including termination and programming.

*  Inspect, test, analyze and troubleshoot technical problems or issues

*  Install cabling, card access, data-paging, data cabinets, cable racks, and camera systems

*  Perform tests and maintain splicing and testing equipment

*  Perform continuity and conformance testing

*  Make splicing rearrangements on existing facilities in buried, underground, aerial, and building work locations.

Qualifications

*  BICSI certification and/or relevant experience

*  Kentucky State Fire Alarm Inspector license and/or significant experience installing and programming fire alarm systems

*  Panduit Certification and/or significant experience

*  Ortronics Certification and/or significant experience


Additional Training Provided

For the individual with adequate baseline skills and experience, Arrow Electric will provide all additional training necessary to secure the required skills and certifications including NICET and NFPA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

*  High school diploma or equivalent

*  Minimum of 5 years Electronic Systems Technician experience for construction

*  Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, schematics, and specs to fully understand scope of work, scheduling, safety, and quality requirements.

*  Must have valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
