Duties & Responsibilities
The Position:
- Conduct site safety audits as well as manufacturing audits
- Construction Safety knowledge/experience preferred
- Provide safety training as it relates to general industry
- Maintain company and government compliance through training, writing safety programs, and auditing
- Work directly with professional contractors both in person and over the phone
Qualifications
The Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in EHS - Preferred
- Good organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Professional phone and email etiquette
- Knowledge of current safety regulations as they relate to construction and general industry work environments
- Ability to recognize and initiate accident prevention practices, knowledge to create a safe work place and have a passion to get others to respect safety as much as you do
- Posess an attention to detail
- Minimum of 3 years of consistent, recent, General Industry and/or Construction Safety work
- Possess a valid OSHA 30 Construction &/or General Industry certification
- MINIMUM OF 3 REFERENCES REQUIRED
