Boutique east end law firm is seeking to add an attorney focusing on Estate Planning and Probate Law. The firm is open to both a deeply experienced attorney looking to join a fast growing practice or a mid career attorney with experience or genuine interest in the field of Estate Planning and Probate Law. This role has a focus on client relationships and education in the community about the offerings provided. Networking and proactively seeking out referral sources to promote firm growth will be a cornerstone of success in this organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide legal services to clients regarding matters related to drafting of estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, living wills, and powers of attorney and providing probate administration.
Follow all procedures in place with the firm's client management software and task tracking.
Requirement to network and proactively seek out new professional referral sources for prospective clients to promote firm growth.
Work with senior attorneys and paralegal regarding cases and clients with open communication.
Represent clients in probate court.
Actively licensed and in good standing with The Kentucky Bar.
A minimum of 2+ years experience working as an attorney, with experience in Estate Planning and Probate Administration preferred.
Established referral sources, both professional and previous clients, in estate planning and probate preferred but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
