We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing/Inventory Control Agent who will work closely with the production team to administer purchasing procedures, including, but not limited to, processing purchase orders, tracking orders, monitoring and maintaining inventory levels. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for all material related needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchase orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
* Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
* Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
* Maintains records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, packing lists, and payments.
* Schedule and verify purchase deliveries
* Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
* Understand/comprehend importance of linkages between Receiving, Production/Manufacturing, QA, QC Testing Timelines and Inventory Control.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field preferred.
* Previous experience with ISO, FDA/GMP for pharma or medical devices a PLUS.
* Previous experience as a purchasing agent or in a similar position.
* Proficiency in inventory management software programs. Familiarity with Sage accounting software a plus.
* Experience ordering populated PCB boards a plus.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong organization and documentation skills.
