The Sales Representative (SR) reports to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and works closely with all Rosa Mosaic colleagues in sales, marketing, fabrication, and administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating sales by identifying and pursuing opportunities within the commercial and residential new construction sectors. Candidates will work as ambassadors and are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to formulate and execute a comprehensive monthly sales strategy. This involves creating a dynamic travel calendar aligned with strategic objectives, focusing on both the commercial and residential new construction sectors.

 Relationship Building: Foster enduring and robust relationships with clients, both new and existing, by gaining a deep understanding of their needs and aspirations. This involves actively listening to clients to discern their requirements and offering tailored solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong connections with key stakeholders such as builders, contractors, architects, and project managers, ensuring open lines of communication and collaboration.     

Client Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and project requirements, leveraging this insight to recommend suitable products and services that align with their objectives and preferences.

Documentation and Follow-Up: Establish and meticulously maintain client files, ensuring timely follow-up on programs and projects to nurture ongoing relationships and opportunities. Organize and maintain an up-to-date inventory of Rosa Mosaic product samples and information in customers’ design centers, ensuring accessibility and relevance

Industry Engagement: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to spotlight the unique features and advantages of Rosa Mosaic’s offerings, contributing to brand visibility and reputation. Participate actively in relevant conferences, meetings, and industry events to network, share insights, and stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends.

Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and agreements to prospective clients, adeptly negotiating terms and pricing to secure mutually beneficial sales agreements. Maintain accurate estimates in Eased Edge software, proactively following up with each customer on any outstanding estimates to expedite decision-making processes.

Client Support: Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, promptly addressing any concerns or issues in a courteous and professional manner to uphold customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Market Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, leveraging this knowledge to identify emerging opportunities for business expansion and innovation.

Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to products or services by evaluating results and monitoring competitive developments, driving innovation and enhancing customer value. 

Qualifications

A minimum of three years of experience in outside sales within the building products industry is highly desirable.

Preferred qualifications include undergraduate/trade/design school education or High School degree and equivalent practical experience.

Experience in coordinating design and finish elements is advantageous.

Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation and problem-solving is essential.

Ability to handle confidential information discreetly is required.

Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), is expected.

A valid driver’s license and willingness for day travel as required are necessary.
